sofa church?

a good pal sent me info about her mate's softly-furnished church up in Crewe
esp good to see them making an appearearance (on Feb 12) on this passionate town blog
funny how coffee corp Costa are workin with Christians on hosting such caffeine-fuelled mind/soul-ticklers,
maybe they could lower their prices while they're at it

shape of things to come?
along with the beer-y pub-based church gatherings (see 26th Jan post)
i was down pub last night chatting about Acts of the Apostles with about 10 others & a Brains Smooth

i really like these stabs at round-a-table church
though still see these are just some ways to be church

can pubs n cafes offer goose-bumpy services in a heaven-haunted setting?
coffee shops speak of laid-back, that's nice, but Ezekiel & The Sermon on the Mount are hardly laid-back
should we hold services in underpasses & back alleys?
